In July, we switched our trash pickup company. Since the old company required payment in advance, we still had a $200 credit. They said they would refund it. After several weeks, I called them again. They said the refund would take 6-8 weeks. In October I sent them email requesting a refund. Again, they said they'd process a refund, and it would take 6-8 weeks.
As of Monday, still no refund! I submitted a complaint on the BBB web site. On Tuesday, I got email and a phone call from the company saying I'd have the refund by the end of the week. Yesterday the refund was posted as a credit on my Visa card.
I was impressed that BBB helped make things happen so quickly.
Maybe I'll try BBB if Diamond Resorts/Hilton doesn't remove the optional $7.00 ARDA-ROC from my maintenance agreement.
I've already contacted them 3 times, and the web site still shows that I still owe $7 for each of my contracts.
