Best time of the week to buy airline tickets?

I have found Orbitz to be the lease expensive for the tickets I wish to purchase.
Yesterday morning I checked out flights from Orlando-SLC. For 2 roundtrip $742. Last night and this morning, $804 . Both are for the same flight. Are flights just going up? Is there a best time of the day or week to search prices? Thank You.

Allmax or AMXtravel

PStreet1, thanks for the link to airfarewatchdog. I was playing around on this site and was directed to allmax or AMXtravel and found some unbelievable airfares. When the deals are too good to be true..... Something else about the site I found worrisome is that there is no physical address given and no phone contact that I could find, only an email. Also, I'd feel a lot better if I saw the BBB logo somewhere on the site.
Does anyone have any experience with this company? I would love to be able to get my fares here, they have the best deals out there, referred to as "negotiated deals". They're awesome.

Monday and Tuesday are almost always the lowest. Though Saturday early morning is when "mistake" fares are sometimes posted (a whole decimal point is moved, so a flight will be $83 instead of $830). I've only ever seen one of the latter.

I use Airfare Watchdog to be aware of sales; I always book directly with the airlines, so I know nothing of the sites that advertise there.
