My wife and I and another couple are planning a trip to Walt Disney World in Orlando in March of 2026. We want to visit the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood. I see that there are nine Marriott/Sheraton resorts in the area. We are four adults in our sixties and seventies. We're not bringing any kids along with us. We expect to be in the Orlando area for at least four days or more. We also may want to visit other parks besides Disney Does anyone have any advice as to the best place to stay out of the nine available?
Thanks! Greg

Grande Vista is great, 2 bedroom lockoffs have the two king beds, separated by a lockoff door on the interior of the unit.

Marriott's Cypress Harbour is great as well. All 2 bedrooms, two bathrooms, king in master, queen in second bedroom.

Harbour Lake, units are smaller.

Royal Palms is good. I like it too. It's close to Epcot.

Sheraton Vistana Villages is great. I wouldn't take anything but Vistana Villages of the Vistanas.

I recently stayed at Sheraton Vistana Villages
It’s extremely convient to all the major parks
I recommend the spa section
It’s located near the restaurant, market place, mini golf and two pools, yet it’s tucked away and overlooks a lovely lake.

I believe The Spa section is at Sheraton Vistana Resort not at Vistana Villages

Sorry maybe it is
We were very happy
Had building two
The unit at the top has a lovely view
Only a two story building
Very easy parking also

A lot depends on what else you are looking for with your stay.
For example do you want to be able to walk to nice restaurants for dinner at night?
If so, look at Lakeshore (on the grounds with JW and Ritz) or one of the Palms (Marriott World Center).
The next thing I would have look at is bed arrangement- you can see this on the MVC App very easily (download it from your App Store) or on the owners site or even Marriott.
The app will allow you to see the amenities at activity schedule at each resort too.
Since you are going to several resorts there is not one in the perfect location for everything so pick a resort you like.
Without kids we like Lakeshore (or Palms).
Next favorite is Grande Ocean.

The three Palms resorts are best for a WDW focused trip and are in general our favorite. Not only is the trip to WDW 10-15 minutes instead of up to an hour you also get access to the facilities of Marriott World Center (though the new-ish waterpark is an extra fee).

That said, Lakeshore Reserve is the nicest MVC Orlando resort (particularly for an all adult trip) and the JW and RC are adjacent. We stay at Lakeshore for non-WDW trips to Orlando (or stay at DVC for WDW then move to Lakeshore). Not as conveniently located...but nicer.

Three Palms would be closest by far as ljmiii noted. If mobility is an issue, please check each resort, not all have elevators. That would be my choice for the MVC related resorts. Vistana (not Villages) is slightly further but not significantly. If you have access to II, you might keep your eye open for a 2 BR DVC option. If ou have Bonvoy points, the Swan and Dolphin are quite nice and on property.

Which would you choose for 2 bedroom for adults, Grande Vista or Sheraton Vistana?

It very much depends on what bed configurations you want/ can find available.
With GV 2nd br can be king, 2 queens or 2 doubles so you could book whatever you want.
I’m not sure what is available at Vistana- I was there about 20 years ago but have always liked MVC better and bought that so never went back.
And we like to walk to dinner so Lakeshore or else Palms.

Grande Vista or Vistana Villages. Big difference.

Vistana better location for Disney, GV a better resort IMO. Vistana Villages not as far as GV but further than Vistana or MVC Palms. Just remember Disney will be likely be very crowded that time of yea, esp if you hit any of the spring break weeks.
