We are going to NCV in 2 weeks and would like advise on what locations are the best. There are 4 adults and 3 kids, 5,8 and 14. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance

For what ever reason, your post hasn't had any responses, so I took pity and did a Search (top right) and found several threads about "best" location - perhaps not titled specifically that. Everyone seems to have different opinions so you'll need to take any or all of them with grains of salt. The lower pool is fun, the middle pool is busy and the upper pool is quiet with lovely views and seating all around, these facts may play a role in your choice.

How did you book your stay. There are certain buildings that have more desirable views, but if you booked an II exchange you may be less likely to be given a unit in one of those buildings.

Can I piggy back on this thread and ask if my top priority is to be away from traffic noise (light sleeper) and always love a view what would be the best buildings in your opinions? I’ve see the resort map but not sure how busy the roads are.

I have read several threads on these boards and will look them over again before I call to make my request but would love specific input for those criteria.

@FlyerzsFan here is a post that I found helpful

That's an interesting question. The Pacific Coast Highway can be noisy, but not so much that it ever has disturbed us. Even those lower bldgs (1100 etc.) are fairly well back from the road and buffered by trees and the golf course. I can hardly remember hearing a siren. You cannot hear the traffic passing by, just the revving Rolls Royces. LOL. I can't speak for Newport Coast Dr. but again, there are trees buffering most buildings. I would choose 4000, 4100 4200 high floor for view and silence.

Thank you.
So if I look at the resort map Newport Coast drive runs behind 4000 and that’s the higher up area?
