"Best" HGVC property on the Big Island?

Our booking window will open in another month and a half or so for our trip next year and trying to determine what HGVC Big Island property will be the best for us. (Understanding "best" is very subjective!) We are a family of 4 - 2 adults, 2 young teens. We've all been to Hawaii previously but kids have not been to the Big Island. We are owners at Bay Club but haven't been there since 2005 and, at least at that time, it was more secluded than other properties in Waikoloa. (Not sure if this is still the case?) Would you recommend Kings Land or Kohala Suites (and is the latter basically at Bay Club)? Read reviews on all (with Ocean Tower with the lowest reviews and the most recent ones were all very bad so eliminated that one!) We will be doing various trips during the day so not a lot of pool lounging etc but may do it for a bit each day. Would like to be closer to restaurant options and note some say these properties do not offer much. As I mentioned, we have not been to the Big Island in over 15 years so any information is appreciated! Thanks in advance.

Pretty well covered in this existing thread on the same topic

You may want to look in that thread as there is a lot of discussion.

Cheers.

For restaurants I think they're all similar. Kings Land (my favorite by far because of the pools) has a pool bar type place, but I would describe the food as uninspired at best. Assuming you have a car all are equally convenient to the various area options. Except Ocean Tower which has more on-site but is difficult/far to enter/leave as the parking isn't convenient.
