Best CC to pay maintenance fees to maximize points?

Any advice on what Credit Card would be best to pay Marriott Maintenance fees? I have Marriott Bonvoy Boundless or Chase Sapphire ?

I and many others have confirmed that MVC MFs qualify as hotel spend on the CSR and so get 4x spend UR points. You’ll have to decide if 4 UR points or 6 Bonvoy Points (+ any applicable ENCs) are more valuable to you.

Not sure if you have the Sapphire Reserve or Preferred, but if it's Preferred, I believe you would only get 2x spend. Reserve gets 4x.

Do you have a Chase Ink Business Preferred? It used to get 3X for travel. With all the cc changes this year I'm not sure it still does. I asked on another thread and am waiting for an answer.

If you have CSP you get 2X. Let's say you have $10K in M/F's, that's 20K Chase points to transfer to an airline. Not bad if you can do the transfer during one of the transfer bonus periods. Like the current one for 25% to Air Canada. You'd get 25K Aeroplan miles.

If you want Bonvoy points instead, do you have the Ritz card? I think that is 6X. $10K in M/F's would be 60K Bonvoy points. Those transfer to some airlines at 3:1. You get an extra 5K miles when transferring 60K. So it would be the same as above, 25K. However, you could have more flexibility with the airline you transferred to. When transferring to UA you get even another 5K for transferring 60K, for a total of 30K UA miles.
