Exactly! in 2004 we chalked it up to too much tequila! But last year we were determined to stay sober to not have the same mistake happen again. WE LOST! We got the same waiter and had the SAME problem. We finally got the manager and he took off some items but it still wasn't what we expected. We gave up! It was too crowded and noisey and everyone was tired. It's really hard to argue with all that going on and have 16 people waiting for you. It's just not right. I am giving them one more chance next week and if my bill is even the slightest bit off I am going to be really pissed. We are big tippers and you don't have to rip people off to make money.tonyg said:It is a good idea to have someone who hasn't had much to drink examine the bill carefully, no matter where you eat. I've had the "gringo" tax added in several ways including an adding machine tape which had a bigger total than the sum of the items. I spent about 45 minutes arguing over a bill for 4 of us once- I won.
