Hi! I know it will be the luck of the draw what building and floor I get at Marriott Frenchman's Cove when visiting at the end of the month since I am coming in on an II trade. I got an email from Marriott asking me floor and building preference. Thought I would give it to them. Besides a high floor is there a good building for being new and having a good ocean view? Thanks!

I haven't been to Frenchman's Cove so cant help with that. But I will say its ALWAYS worth the try to make requests, even for an Interval exchange!! You never know what you might get!

I exchanged into Beachplace Towers for Spring Break last month and requested high floor and ocean view. When I checked in and they gave me floor 18 (of 19) and oceanview I was ecstatic! Views were incredible and I couldn't believe I got such a great unit with an Interval exchange!

Here is the resort map.... https://owners.marriottvacationclub...lmYjVmNDM3OTg0MTRjZWQ4MGIzOWE2YmU2MTgwZjU1NjA

The buildings are built going up a hill....so all of them have decent views....although the higher in a building you are, the less of the lower building in front of you, you will likely see.

The Crown House (also is the check in building) and part of Tortola face away from town (Charlotte Amalie) and a view of the town can be a nice view at night with lights lit up, etc..., but Tortola is closest to the sea, so not sure I would rule that one out. If it were me, I would ask for high floor, not Crown building, closest to sea as possible.

We really liked the totally uninterrupted view in Tortola building, even when not on the highest floors and even though it looks away from Charlotte Amalie.
We would request those again.

Here are pictures from the St. John building. These were taken in February 2023. I am not a great photographer but here is an idea of what it looks like from our patio. We spent so much time watching the ships go by and saw spectacular sunsets. At night you can see the lights from town. If you look at the first picture you can see the new Weston on the hill. It was still not open. In the second picture by the cars they have grills and pool tables. You get to the pool by going to the next building and using the elevator. The beach is small and you might want to take a day and travel to some of the other beaches nearby. The dock you see in front of the cruise ship is where you can take the "Cat" catamaran on snorkeling and dinner cruises. It was so convenient. When we came into St Thomas on the cruise ships we always wanted to stay here and are so glad we did. All the people at the resort are so friendly and happy to help you enjoy your stay. I hope you have a great time!

St John. Spectacular view. The huge cruise ships sailing by look like the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man in Ghost Busters.

We stayed in the Jost Van Dyke Building….top floor…..beautiful view of Pacquereau Bay…as well as Charlotte Amalie….especially in the evening

Thanks everyone! Appreciate it!
