Hi All,
Does anyone know what is needed for a person to call Marriott Vacation Club, make and change bookings, and have access to all information as needed on MVC accounts that are not in my name, but that I rent and manage for friends and family? Is there a legal document that I must fill out and the actual owner has to sign? Has anyone had to do this? I would prefer to do it the correct way rather than just calling in and pretending I am the account holder, although I have been given permission by all of the families to do just that when needed, and I have all of the information one would need to easily do so. Please advise if you know, Thank you very much.

Hi, did you ever find the answer to this? I manage a few accounts and can only do so online for these reasons but sometimes you need to be able to call.

You can do most everything on-line except cancel a res. or resolve a problem. For those situations where you have to call in, they'll probably ask your email address, street address, perhaps account number. But if you change the profile in Interval so that your phone number is listed, then when you call, they'll automatically think that you are the correct member and will only ask your email address and home address. Maybe I'm over simplifying this.

Yeah, you don't have to know much to "pretend" to be the authorized person.

All you need is a limited power of attorney that specifies “all Marriott timeshare transactions for acct # xxx”

I may or may not have been my deceased uncle a few times when calling on behalf of my 82 year old aunt. My cousins have no clue how to run it. They tell me where they want to go and I take care of it for them.
