Hi all-

We are headed to Myrtle Beach in about 6 weeks and I'd like to know...since the resort is about 1 mile from the beach, what's the parking situation when you visit the beach? Do they have a private lot you can use?

Also, any not to be missed places with a 4.5 year old are appreciated. Thanks! :whoopie:

When you leave the resort, there are two ways to the beach.

Turn right to 29th street, then left on 29th and go about three blocks.

or

Turn left to 38th street, then right on 38th and go about three blocks.

Each way takes about 7-10 minutes depending upon traffic and lights.

There are small free parking lots at entrances to the beach. They hold about 6 cars each. You can park along the street if they are full.
