I know this is a long shot.

Has anyone opened a Wyndham Earner Card between March 2021 and May 2021 while attending Wyndham sales presentation?

I am specifically looking for info pertaining to the sign up bonus offer.

When I went to the salepresentation they had a flyer listing the promotion. Included in the promotion was a 1x $50 credit for paying maintenance fees with your Wyndham credit card.

Thanks in advance.

You never received the credit?

I got the credit.

There were additional incentives that have not posted to my account. Spend 1K in the first 90 days and receive 45K Wyndham Reward pints.

New too!! Never got my points. I called and got the ring around. Wyndham said I had to contact Barclays. Barclays supposedly did an inquiry and eventually said they couldn't help me. I am pissed but figure the next update I attend I use it to get out early or bargain for the points.

Where and when did you attend your sales presentation?

And

What was your exact promotional bonus?
I attended in Atlantic City and the promotion was the same as yours. Spend $1000 in first 90 days to get 45000 rewards points. Never got the points.

If the info you received about the reward points came from a sales weasel then it probably was a lie.

The 45K points after 1K spend in 3 months was (maybe still is) a promotion from Barclays Bank. Nothing to do with the time shares. If you did not receive the bonus points, call the phone number on the back of your credit card to see why.

The offer has nothing to do with sales. Anyone can apply for the Barclays Earner Card and get 45,000 Wyndham Reward Points if you spend $1000.00 in 90 days and then another 15,000 Wyndham Reward point if you spend an additional $1000.00 within 6 months. I applied for the earner card and received it in October. On November 17th I had spent $1000,00. They apply the rewards points with each statement. My monthly statement end date was 12/1. My 45,000 rewards points showed up in my account on 12/6. I have now gone past the $2000,00 point so I will get another 15,000 rewards points in January. Since I rarely say in hotels. I plan to use the 60k rewards to pay $300.00 towards my maintenance fees.
I will now mostly stop using the card since I have a better cash rebate card than the earner card.

I reached out to Barclays multiple times and they are giving the the runaround. It is almost next to impossible to speak with anyone who knows anything.

There are much better travel credit cards such as Chase Sapphire Preferred.

Totally agree. My Wyndham Rewards card usually stays in my nightstand drawer. Amex, Sapphire or Marriott cards tend to be used...

I figured getting $300.00 toward my maintenance fees for $2000 of purchases was worth the effort of applying for it. But ow it goes in my night stand too.

I called the number on the back and like I said I got the real run around. They opened up an inquiry but I recently got a letter from Barclays saying they couldn't help.
The card is useful to get points when you do an update. I have used those to stay in some pretty nice Wyndham properties that cost hundreds per night.

I was under the impression you didn’t need the credit card, just a WR card to get points from an update. (Admitting that since I’ve never done an update I’ve only gleaned this secondhand.)

You just need to have a Wyndham Rewards account to get the points at an update. No credit card needed. You also earn WR points for staying at Wyndham family hotels. Remember that as timeshare owners, we get a 20% discount on hotel bookings and can request a suite upgrade (I'm Silver VIP with the resorts and Diamond with Wyndham Rewards).
