I recently received an Avis car rental certificate worth $300. after cashing in MVC points held in a holding account which I could not redeem given my schedule. After calling Marriott Owner Services, I was told to call a designated number to obtain a reservation and was sent on a wild goose chase which ended up in what sounded like some individuals home who subsequently booked the reservation. Now I need to change the pick up time and was left with no call back number on the reservation. Finally, I have no idea if insurance is provided on the vehicle given that I used points to book. Help??
