Looking for recommendations on the cheapest/best way to rent a week at Aulani next year?

Side note- we are MVC owners.

Just so you know - there are no cheap places to rent Aulanai - it gets top dollar.

I would try the websites for DVC timeshare owners. Someone else will come along and post the website name (I actually don't know them.)

I just rented out my DVC points through this company: www.dvcrentalstore.com

There is a points calculator on the site, so you can figure out how many points you'd need.

Low season 1BR pool view week is around 300ish points, so $5400. Studios are cheaper, 2 or 3 BR units pricier. Better seasons are more expensive, better views are more expensive. Less days are cheaper, you don't need to book a full week.

You could try to trade your MVC privately through the Mouseowners Rent/Trade forum. But fair warning, DVC is an expensive timeshare and people who own it tend to think its the ABSOULTE BEST EVER and they don't always place too much value on anything nonDVC, so I wouldn't get my hopes too terribly high for a private trade. Most DVC people seem to be east coast, so you might get lucky if you own a Marriott appealing to east coast folks- ie caribbean.
