AT&T Digital Life ending - switch to Brinks?

We’ve had an AT&T Digital Life home security system for over ten years, hard wired into the house. We received an email this morning stating that AT&T is discontinuing Digital Life in early 2022 and is offering an opportunity to transition to Brinks Home at the same monthly cost and with options to upgrade or add to the equipment already installed. Just wondering whether any TUGGERS have Brinks service and want they think about it, and of course we’re also wondering whether we should just switch to a DIY system like SimpliSafe. Any input appreciated! TIA!
