Aspen vs Breckenridge vs Beaver Creek in June or July

We have stayed at all three and Aspen is my least favorite--so darn expensive for dining out and parking is expensive. My husband likes to say the billionaires have chased all the millionaires out of Aspen. The advantage to BC and Breck is having good access to Vail which is a great walkable area. Breckenridge is larger than BC and I think you would find more to do as far as restaurants, shopping, etc., as compared to BC.

We lived in Denver 30 years ago. I remember that in the summer in Aspen, there were free outdoor symphony performances and music festivals on the mountains which were really good. One of them I attended had Henry Mancini conduct his pieces. I still remember to this day. I also enjoyed hiking in Aspen and Snowmass. We have been to Veil/Beaver Creeks several times in the summer as well. I am sure we liked that area too, I just seem to remember the trips to Aspen more 😀

Breckenridge is our favorite, so many walkable places, free concerts, craft fairs, great biking/hiking, free gondola

Hi Jill, I am a deeded Owner at Sunset and Coconut Cove and when I search for the summer at Aspen and all the colorado properties, I get no availablility. I searched June through August. So Strange that uyou see availability and I don't what am I missing?
Deeded owners won’t see Aspen availability until 6 months out. However, this year NOTHING has shown up for any date in May and should have by late November (6 months.) We are deeded owners and are usually confirmed in November. This May there is no availability. Anyone else been confirmed for May? It’s off season, but the fishing is usually pretty good.

I've seen the Roaring Fork so high in May that I'm amazed any trout survived to see June. Just sayin' -- I hope you have a full creel and a good time. But I've been pushing my visits to Colorado back for years now. I'm visiting in late June, early July of late.

Hubby like to fish the Frying Pan in Basalt.
