Hi I have a unit booked through II at the Aruba Surf club , and it is stating my room is HZZAA or I have a choice to take another week that is HZZAB, Does anyone know what these mean?

Looking at the Marriott II Unit Codes thread. It looks like ZZAB is a 2BR Ocean Front. Though I am curious, how do you know you can get another unit that is ZZAB? Have you confirmed the exchange or did someone at II tell you that was the code?

Diox....OP has first room booked, but is looking to retrade into a different week/unit. When you call, they can tell you.

This has not been my experience, as well as the experience of others that have discussed this here. The reps at II have never been able to tell me the unit code of a unit that I would be able to trade/retrade in to. I have asked on several occasions. Of course, that doesn't mean they didn't lie to me, and others.

What is everyone's experience getting the view identified on their exchange at check in? we also have a 2BR oceanfront coming up through an exchange. Although, it says-view not guaranteed. We are cautiously optimistic of oceanfront.

Diox...I have done this at the Surf Club, specifically to change my view to oceanfront (and it worked). I explained this to them, so maybe that is why they did it? Not sure why they would withhold this information - I mean, it must be in the system right?

Maybe in my case, the Oceanfront unit was the ONLY unit available, so the agent knew this would be the unit I would receive.
