Can anyone offer insight as to what Aruba airfares to expect in early October and when best to book?

We have people coming from Dallas -DFW, Miami -MIA, New-York -JFK, Maryland-BWI/IAD...

Any thoughts would be appreciated?

In November flights seem to drop to $400's but are several hundred higher in October ( at this point anyway). Looking for decent routing....just staying a longish (girls) weekend so trying to minimize nights away from family and would prefer early morning departures and to arrive in time for afternoon cocktails!

Thanks.

I am flying to Mexico in the fall - and I am holding out for a fare sale in the summer for Fall Caribbean and Mexico.
Right now Jet Blue's non-stop is $500 - meanwhile, I just paid $360 R/T on Continental for March Grand Cayman....so no way will I pay $500 for fall MX.

Just hold out until early August and you should get a deal.

Thanks, Grayfal.

That is what I am hoping...when I am not really needing anything, I feel like I see summer airfare sales all the time...

Summer airfares from NY at least seem to be crazy this year. I keep hoping they'll come down.

Air tran started flying from BWI to Aruba. Their fares were lower than American the last time I checked. They only fly on weekemds (?)
