Scottsdale has very high demand for March (spring training.) We own at Sheraton Desert Oasis - I see the larger 1 bdm.'s going on ebay for $2K and less. I have never tried to exchange it, but SFX told me that they have a lot of demand for March/Easter for Scottsdale.

We have had very good luck with Arroyo Roble resort. They have a sale agency run by a Rod Goebel. He sells for other Sedona timeshares as well, but his office is in the Arroyo Roble. The nice thing is that you can see all the inventory, and decide which is the best bargain for you. You can also negotiate the price. He lives in Sedona, easy to get hold off should any problems occur. We bought from and elderly couple who had 2 weeks banked with RCI as an added bonus.

Scottsdale and Sedona resorts will trade overall the best. I think the best resort is the Marriott Desert Ridge and I would agree that Desert Oasis would be very good. Our off season Scottsdale Camelback is used only for trades, and we have been able to go just about anywhere. Our high season Orange Tree also is very good in the II system.
