Yes I had a problem and now I'm back and running. It was the web view update to Uninstaller and it worked. I was really getting upset yesterday. Interestingly, it was only my Portuguese phone...

Actually, I should have mentioned that what worked for me was I went to the Google Play Store and checked Updates. - both Google Android View and Chrome where in line for updates which I did. That solved my slow app loading problems (my apps weren't crashing). Again, Thanks for the heads up.

Thanks! I had some problems yesterday, and my daughter was really struggling with crashing apps. Hope this helps!

I’ve had a problem with Google Maps App freezing up for months now, I have to remove all updates to get it working, or use the browser version, very annoying, I’m ready to switch over to my old iphone 6.

I think Google is a hot mess right now. I had Pixel phones, the last one a Pixel 2XL---from 2018, but honestly, I feel like an expensive phone should last longer than three years.

The camera totally crashed and could never be restored. Google help was all "Gosh, we've never heard of such a thing!" Meanwhile the reviews of Google Camera on the Google Play store say the same thing over and over and over--camera crashed and could not be restored. Thousands of one-star reviews. Very frustrating. I had to get a new phone. I went back to Samsung.

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't having problems, but the Google Play Store Updates did update Android System Webview. The update was released 3/22/2021.

Mahalo, my wife was having problems yesterday and I just sent her the link. Hope it works for her.

Yes, I just updated and it's working so far.

Same here. Most recent Android Webview update (March 22) appears to have fixed the problem with apps crashing.

I've not experienced any problems with google apps on a Samsung Galaxy 10
It was noted that some users who may not have installed the recent system update may have (temporarily at least), avoided the issue.

Google has been a hot mess for some time and as a (forced) user of Google I haven't been much of a fan of their products (saying nothing about their horrific policies). But the problem is Apple has become as bad as Google so what does a cell phone user do?
If anything this is a market ripe for another competitor to enter the fray.

We already had an excellent 3rd option with Nokia/Microsoft windows phones, sadly they are now EOL and not supported. However mine still works great.

My wife said it worked and all her apps are working again.

Yes!! DH says he got strange pop ups past few days in his Samsung tablet. Then Gmail wouldn’t open. Then nothing much worked. I ran Avast and Malwarebytes and nothing worked. Our son did a hard reboot and it’s working at the moment. I will keep this thread.
