This thread is from 2022 so I'm curious if anyone knows of any HIVC resorts that currently allow non-service pets. East coast preferred since I'd have to drive there. Hate to pay for AirBNB with all these points.
I believe all of the former Silverleaf resorts that are part of HICV are pet friendly. HICV also allows emotional support animals along with service animals at all their resorts so you will see more pets than your typical non pet friendly resorts. Per their guide it is for owners and HICV members only.
Pet Policy
Select resorts in the Holiday Inn Club® network allow only members and owners to bring their pet on
property during their stay. For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, the following rules apply:
• There is a $125 plus tax fee per pet brought onto the property (except for David Walley’s Resort).
• David Walley’s Resort allows dogs only (maximum two per family) and must be six months or
older. There is a $250 deposit per dog plus a $15 fee per dog/per day. Advance notification is
required at David Walley’s Resort for a pet-friendly room.
• Fees are collected at the time of check-in.
• All pets must be registered upon check-in with current vaccination records shown.
• Pets must be harnessed or leashed at all times.
• Guests are fully responsible for the behavior of and any damage caused by their pets.
