Are Hyatt Vacation Club resorts all non-smoking properties?

I'm contemplating a Hyatt resale and was wondering if all the current resorts are non-smoking, and will future resorts be non-smoking or have non-smoking rooms? Our Starwood and DVC resorts are, and we prefer it that way :) .

Since no one has chimed in with an answer, I'll tell you what I know for sure. We just stayed at Hyatt Pinon Point. All rooms & common areas such as the pool area are non-smoking. Smoking is allowed on the patios & balconies. Haven't stayed at any other Hyatts.

I think those are the rules at Coconut Plantation and Wild Oak Ranch as well. Definitely no smoking in the units, but I think it's permitted on the patios.

A couple of the very first resorts do not prohibit smoking in the rooms because the rules and regs were established before the widespread issues on smoking. However, Hyatt is very strong against smoking in the rooms and (consistent with their hotel policies) for those few resorts they are soon to implement a $250 cleaning fee for any unit where someone smoked in the unit. All the new resorts have rules against smoking in the unit.

Thank you!

Thanks for all of the replies. I am glad to hear that Hyatt is going smoke-free :) .
