Are Diamond Resale points owners receiving the discounted rates offered by Hilton?

Are Diamond Resale points owners - for the DRI US Collection, receiving the discounted rates that Hilton is giving to the DRI/HGV retail owner?

I am a flex week Diamond resale owner and can book Diamond properties at discount prices.

Sometimes resale gets the discounted rates, but definitely not always. We have both resale and retail in the US Collection and many times the retail is cheaper. I just saw a discount in my retail account for the Scottsdale Mirage so I searched in my resale as well. For 1 week, 1Bd in Scottsdale Mirage for a week starting Jan 3, retail is 2477 points, resale is 4500. Many times inventory is different as well.

I'll typically start a search in the resale account and then check the price in the retail account. I'll book first using the resale only if the points are the same or I need to use up the resale points.
