Need help on computer question #2

I have a new Laptop at home. I use Aol with my broadband and store my e-mails on my PC. When I set up the new PC I ended up with no access to my old e-mails, just a clean slate. Is there any way I copy them off the old PC and combine them with the new ones I already have on my new laptop? Is there a way to store them out on the Aol web and access them from there?

Hope a computer wiz has an answer.

Thanks,

Don't remember how to do it, but, I went to the live help desk, and via messaging, the rep sent instructions on how to do it. I do know that the files are maintained in your personal filing cabinet. When I changed pcs, I was able to transfer the saved email, favorite places to the new one.

Good luck

Bruce

Yes there is an easy way. Instead of saving the e-mails to your PC, save them on "aol". Here is a step by step.

Hit the rear email button. (mailbox)
Hit the Manage Mail tab
Go down to saved on my PC (the old PC)
Drag the emails to the Saved on AOL folder (just above)
ANd that is it. ANy questions or problems just ask.

Thanks. I'll think I'll try saving the files from both computers on aol first. And if that doesn't work them I'll send them an e-mail and request help.

You guys & gals always have the answers.
