Haven’t seen that one, but I got one telling me that my Amazom account needed to be verified and to just click on the website in the email. One - they used my nickname which I do not use for internet business and 2 - they were so dumb or careless that Amazon was consistently spelled with a “M”. Delete!

this comes as a text, trying to get me to click on a link.

I get them often. Most recent is one from area code 404 which stated I had a $150 Amazon credit with a link to click. What is sad is that there are people falling for these scams every day. If no one fell for it they wouldn’t be sending these texts.

I just received a text - claiming to be JP Morgan. My account on-line was being deactivated or something and to click on a link. Deleted it right after I saw it. New scam every minute.

They are practically the same scam. Don't ever click a link in any email or text you receive.

I get texts regularly with just a link and a dollar amount. I always delete them.

Same here, but I make sure and block the number before deleting. Even though most of those are spoofing the number, it does catch some.

Yes, and I’ve blocked so many numbers now that I’ve started to wonder about their being reassigned to some innocent person or business that I will want to communicate with but now can’t! :p
