I thought this was an interesting video. I have had more vivid dreams since this all started. Nothing really directly related to the virus. The one I remember most is that the power went out across much of the country and I recall saying, I need to go see the Milky Way. Mainly because you can't see it in most areas because of light pollution. When I went out I laid down and the Milky Way looked great. I could even see other galaxies spinning away in the night sky. These would never be visible to the naked eye.

Yes! I have been having coronavirus dreams. I know I have had at least two but now I do not remember the content. It was probably about being stuck somewhere, knowing me.

I can't believe you posted this. My daughter and I visited my sister yesterday (yes -- we BROKE the SIP rules, report me now). Us girls were discussing that we've all been having crazy dreams the past few weeks.

Two nights ago, I saw a man in full body PPE and all masked up. In my dream I was looking for my car in a car park structure up a hill and I had used "Tile" to look for my car. I heard the alarm came from outside of the multi-story carpark and I looked down and saw my car being towed away from an open air carpark. I tried to walk out of the car park structure, down a rocky slope and there was the man in full PPE gear, oh and I also saw a couple of men carrying a body away on a stretcher.

Cornell, not about dreams, but a comment about visiting your sister. It's no problem in my book. But an example of a part of SIP that I don't understand. For instance, my friend and I have each been SIP for 10 days. She decided to drive her car over to see me. We ate a meal in my home. And then she drove home. Where is any possible danger in that? (Sorry for going off topic).

Thank you My sister lives alone (she is a widow). All three of us were having a horrible day and decided to have some girl time. It was just what the doctor ordered.

I know of many people who are breaking SIP to see family members. My father in Florida goes from my great aunt’s house to my sister’s house. Another friend of mine in Minnesota goes to visit family. Many of my clients in California are telling me that they visit family. You really can’t expect total isolation. People would die from loneliness.

I have actually been sleeping better. No dreams I can remember. Now after reading this my mind will probably have a bad dream.

I'm thinking there is a provision regarding care for a family member. My point is that I felt like I couldn't tell anyone of my friends visit for fear of chastisement. But how could anyone feel we were endangering ourselves or others?

That was really nice and a good idea. I was at a doctors office so I cannot suggest it to anyone else.

It’s interesting, I am one of four sisters. I asked one of my other sisters if she wanted to get together next weekend, and she wasn’t comfortable with it. I respect and understand that. She’s married so she has her husband. I’m single and so is my sis that I met yesterday so I think we are craving company more than others. It’s hard!

Agree about having a partner. I am alone. (I totally related to the alien abduction comic in the humor post.)

The way I look at it is that you are both adults. If you both decide to see each other, then that is fine. The only risk is one of you might have covid and not know it. But if you both consent to see each other, then who should judge you? No one, it is your choice. Also I understand how lonely SIP can be, especially if you live alone. I have my DH. Otherwise I would be going nuts by now. I wish my family were closer and I could visit them. I miss my family. I had to cancel my summer trip to visit them. My first trip, as soon as SIP and travel restrictions are lifted, will be to Florida to see my family.

I had some crazy, dark (terrifying) fever dreams through the worst nights of being sick (back in Dec) ... but none particularly since the SaH orders. However, SaH has been mostly easy for me given our remote location and having the horses in the yard.

YES Weird dreams since being in the hospital with the Covid-19. Some of old time friends, some of scary road trips over high cliffs, some feelings of being lost in a huge shopping mall where I can't find my way home, some of my old co-workers who don't know me anymore. Really vivid memories of being in my old house with my parents (who are long since dead). My parents are OK, but the house is FALLING APART! Very upsetting! DON'T GET THIS! PLEASE STAY VIGILANT AND PREVENT CONTACT! NOTE TO SELF - write this stuff down every morning and call a shrink - this is messed up

I am having dreams that I will never get to go to Hawaii again. Two dreams, very similar in that the plane turned around while we were on our way to Hawaii. Those dreams are because so many people are cancelling their Hawaii trips, and we may be forced by the governor of Hawaii to cancel our June trip.

I did have a dream early this morning that I was drinking peach tea, which I made yesterday, actually, and I could taste the peach. That was strange.

I always dream that my parents and Rick's real mom are still alive and I am forgetting to visit them.

While I haven't had that dream recently ... I really hate that dream.

No increase in dreams for me, and nothing of note. On a side note about dreams, years ago I suffered a terrible concussion and didn't dream AT ALL for many, many months after (or at least that I could remember- I also had serious ST memory issues for quite a while). I remember the first dream after (although not the content, just that I had one) and waking up extremely excited that I had actually HAD a dream. Until then I wasn't even aware that I hadn't been dreaming. It would be interesting to know if there is any correlation between how much time the pandemic is occupying your waking thoughts to your dreaming pattern.

Yes! I wake up exhausted sometimes after these heavy dreams.

So one I can still remember...

We were at church and after worship there was a baby or wedding shower. We have large showers at church. Then we were gathered around a fire pit. We’ve added a fire pit in the church garden.

As we were breaking up to go home I thought “Oh no, we have been so close to each other when we weren’t supposed to. It will be really bad if a new wave of infection begins running through our group.”

My sister is going through chemo. Wish I could see her.

On average, people should be having more vivid dreams. Many people are getting more reset and REM sleep occur the most in late stage sleep. I know I am, but mine are happy dreams. . . Last night an old lady friend and myself were having dinner at time traveled world's fair. (1968 Hemisfair, San Antonio.)

My dreams are worse since my hospitalization with the Covid. I'm almost afraid to go to bed at night anymore. TOO WEIRD!
