I'm curious about the experience of others. We own 38,000 WM credits having started in 2001 with 7000 developer credits and all the rest after market.

At our last presentation, about a year ago, another salesman came by and in an irritated voice said to our salesperson "They have been to 75 presentations". (We asked if we got a prize!!)

Whether related or not, we shortly found ourselves on the "do not invite to presentations list". While I know many who would give their eye teeth for such a designation, I am not happy. We always made good use of our "bribes" - I mean rewards - and it was some easy money.

Our credit isn't great but we are still getting invited to presentations by other timeshare companies so I doubt that is it. Was 75 presentations the magic number?

I look forward to hearing if others have had similar experiences.

I was on the DNI list for Wyndham for awhile but I asked to do a tour and they said sure.
Officially there isn't a DNI list but I'm pretty sure unofficially there is.

Sounds like they finally made a good decision.

Wow 75 presentations
You have the patience of Job
Honestly I don’t think I could do that
But I am impressed with your ability to say no Atleast 3 times 75
That’s pretty 😎

75 presentations with WorldMark. I haven't had even one. But we are on the Do Not Ask list with Wyndham and assume it's the same for WorldMark, as it's the same company.

We attended quite a few with Shell, I would say 5 or 6. They couldn't sell us anything. When you get points free, the sales' pitches are truly laughable.

I honestly do want to know what the best $ or credits etc you got during all those walks
I find this fascinating

Congratulations you make the DNI List.

How could you guys sit and listen to 75 presentation for 90 minutes or more?

You have the patience to listen to 75 timeshare presentation. Wow!!

A double congratulations. This maybe a Tugger record for DNI.
75 timeshare presentation at WM by one Tugger.

We haven't made the list but we have been asked to leave with the booty a few times. There should be a trophy for 75 Worldmark presentations @JohnPaul

We got on the HGVC banned list after only one presentation. 100% resale and babbling to the other victims about E*Bay resale contracts got us there fast.

I so agree
But honestly don’t you want to know their best score on comps etc?

HGVC has threatened me with being banned, but they keep calling. We have owned for many years.

Wyndham has also threatened me, and maybe I am on their do not invite list. I haven't gotten a phone call from them in a few years.

Onward! Now you have more time to visit with other timeshare companies.

Last year I returned to Marriott my Timber Lodge (Lake Tahoe) 1 BR
Off season. So, I was surprised to be invited to an Owner's Update while at
Ko-Olina. I asked if she could see that on my account. She said "yes, no matter". I had really expected to be on their Do Not Call list.

Oh, no, they have something better to sell you that isn't off-season.

I like being invited to the Westin ones. I didn't get invited this past March. I mean, we did get invited by a guy who offered nothing for our attendance.

Thinking back, I was banned from Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach's sales presentation because the sales guy & I argued about the fact he didn't know what he was talking about or was a liar. He showed us my name on a document claiming I was not allowed to attend the sales presentations. We were staying at the PB Sunset Beach and would be moving to the Monre Cristo Estates that next week via upgrade. The sales guy had said I couldn't be upgraded. The model home was next door to our unit so when I saw him bring clients to the show house I went out and said hi, here I am, nice upgrade.

Within the same week we were asked to attend another presentation with Pueblo Bonito. I told them we were at a presentation not even a week ago and received $300. They said they could give us $300 + a resort credit of $150 so we went. It was a different presentation of a future golf resort that's now built. Beautiful place.

I think we have been to at least a dozen PBSB sales presentations.

We know, or would think, at some point the developers would stop inviting us but for whatever reason they don't. They keep asking and we keep going. Even though I know many would prefer to be barred from owner updates, but I agree with the OP here, I want to attend.

Lucky for you you get to learn (per the concierge) about this new great program where you can rent hotels with your Abound points .
