Any westgate owners out there?

I have a question about interval getaway availability at other Westgate resorts as a member with a westgate based interval account.

A friend of mine who purchased a westgate timeshare is not showing any getaway availability at any other westgate resort.

Is this normal for a westgate interval membership?

I forgot to mention that in all of my interval accounts, I am showing lots of availability at many of the westgate resorts (I don’t have an interval account with westgate).
 
There aren't many Westgate owners around here. It is entirely possible that Wetgate has an arrangement with II to prevent Westgate owners from booking getaways into Westgate resorts. First, they don't want owners to see how cheaply they rent and second it why buy more when you can rent cheap. Westgate is the worst of the worst, I wouldn't put something like that past them. Are any of your II accounts from a Westgate ownership? Perhaps there are some Westgate Facebook Groups out there that you could join to see if they have any insight.

I don’t anything with westgate, but a friend of mine does and they can’t see any getaway’s for westgate. So I was trying to figure out if this was systematic with a Westgate owners or just isolated.
 
A Westgate Owner on a Facebook group is stating the same situation. He is unable to see any Getaways in II for Westgate Resorts. He owns Westgate Lakes.

The only reason Wastegate releases getaways anywhere is to provide warm bodies for their sales staff to sell to. Wastegate owners have already swallowed the bait.

We saw the hook and booked a couple Westgate getaways during II Platinum Escapes. We won't be swallowing any bait though. If they ask, we might bite the hook at go to a Westgate timeshare presentation.
 
its interesting, I almost always see getaways for westgate orlando resorts within II. (am not a wg owner) so maybe there is something to that!
 
I own two back to back weeks at Westgate Vacation Villas and do not see any Westgate Getaway weeks. I've been told that they put a regional block on our owner accounts for the Orlando area so we can't see what's available. The only Westgate I can see is when they offer an accommodation certificate.

It's probably so Westgate owners can't see how cheap they are to book.
