Hi Tuggers

If I book Elara HGVC las vegas am I charged any resort fees of any kind? Or do I only pay the exchange fee and with my points?

I'm booking through the HGVC portal.

Also I need a GC for my friends family, they are travelling 3. 1 adult and 2 kids aged: 16 and 18. Do I choose 3 adults or 2 adult and 1 kid?

Also on the GC there are only room for 2 names, is 1 name enough and this person then need to be there at checkin with the rest?

regards

You will only pay the reservation fee and the guest fee. There won't be any extra resort fees.

They are considered 2 adults and one child. Only one adults name needs to be on the reservation for check in. You can put 2, but only 1 is required. When they check in, the front desk will ask for all names of the adults. They will never ask for names for anyone under 18.

You don't need to be there for check in. One time when I had a GC, I tried to check in first to my friends room because I got there before they did and the front desk would not give me the keys. They didn't know or care I was the HGVC member.

Not sure what type room you booked. In some or most of the resorts, a studio only allows two people max. So if there are three people in a studio, the front desk might have a problem.
