Any recommendations on which NYC timeshare to buy?

Family of 4 (2 young kids), looking to buy resale in NYC for 1-2 night weekend stays to visit Broadway and other NYC stuff. Would prefer 1 bedrooms.

My understanding is that Hilton has the most options. Marriott Pulse does not have one bedrooms. Wyndham 45 is more by Grand Central. Manhattan Club appears poorly managed, people trying to give away their contracts.

Welcome to TUG! Congrats on researching resale. You will save a lot.

Since you need a one bdrm and as your kids grow, possibly a two bdrm, I would recommend Hilton Club of New York. Check with Judy Koz at Judikoz.com for listings if you prefer a broker. If DIY try Redweek or TUG listings. HCNY is on a floor of the Hilton Midtown Hotel.

HCNY will give you:

* short notice stays since the only people who can use it are HCNY owners so not competing with HGVC owners as the reservation dates approach (Club within a club)
* 1 night stays without a short stay cleaning fee. (W57 min 4 nights to avoid fee)
* 1 and 2 bdrm units (No other NYC properties AFAIK have 2 bdrms. The 1 bdrms are small and only have a couch in the living.
* Lounge access (breakfast and heavy appetizers) for you and your kids (saving money - NYC restaurants are expensive.

The Maint Fee will be slightly higher than other HGVC NYC properties but your purchase price should be lower because of it.
