Another Ko Olina room question

We are owners at Ko Olina but this is a combo of points reservation and Interval exchange.

1BR Mountain View room is what we got. We usually request the NAIA tower but I understand that there are very few 1BR Mountain View’s.

Given that most exchanges get floors 2-5, is my best bet to ask for a MOANA tower golf course view?

Would work if you want the greatest chance of not getting parking garage view.

You may get a higher floor on your trade since you are also an owner, it depends on the season, day of checking, etc. However, we have had some beautiful golf course views in Moana!

What view does your confirmation say? That is the view you will receive.

In your II account History tab, what is the Unit code? Compare it to this list and then that will help determine how you should proceed with requests.

The H just indicates that it was a developer deposit from weeks inventory.

You will be in Naia only as the TOVInis for a dedicated 2br unit.

I am an MKO owner with multiple deeded platinum plus weeks. On trades, I have gotten everything from 1st floor and up. It is pretty random. Even on an owner week booked 13 months out, I got assigned to 2nd floor villa.

Best advice I ever got was to call the resort about 2 weeks before your stay and speak to the room controller. Tell them exactly what you want, what your priority is- they will do their best.
