Well, now with both II's and Marriott's websites requiring Firefox to run all features, it's time to figure out Firefox. My computer lets me know when it's time to update Safari, or I can click on the apple icon and run SoftWare Update just in case. So how do I find out if there are updates for Firefox?

Thanks,

Open the firefox browser. Click on Help at the top of screen or hit ALT - H and select Check for updates.

Firefox will periodically open to an update page when a major update has been done.

Firefox does that automatically for me - I never ask it to check, and in fact I rarely use Firefox, but every once in awhile I get a little window asking me to upgrade it, or telling me that the upgrades will be installed next time I start it.

Excellent, thanks! There was an update available and it's all set now. pj, I don't remember getting an auto pop-up but I'll just make sure I check every so often.

Auto-updating is turned on in my Firefox Preferences:

Firefox / Preferences / Advanced / Update / check the boxes
