I own with HGVC, and yesterday I was playing around with dates and possible resorts online. I didn't book anything, because I'm just trying to see what might be available in the future.

Today I got a phone call from HGVC that said something like: we noticed you were looking at the Tuscany Florida resort yesterday, and you didn't book anything, is there something we can help you with?

Seriously? I don't want a phone call every time I speculate on my next vacation. Hopefully these phone calls won't continue.

Has anyone else gotten a call like this?

that is odd but like TolmiePeak, I don't answer numbers that I don't know but have not had a voice mail.

I am always searching and never received a phone call.

I do answer as I find that, maybe 40% of the time, it's someone I wanted to talk to that might be difficult to get a hold of, so I'd rather not have it go to voicemail. And the rest? I can either just hang up on them, or mess with them if the mood strikes.

Some would say that life is too short to answer such calls. I'd say that I spend less time dealing with these than playing phone tag with people I do want to talk with if I don't answer.

As to the OP - I have never received such a call. The closest I get is emails from airlines for trips I've priced but not booked.

Cheers.

Android screens most of mine and don't even ring. I just see the missed calls and voice mail... Is they leave one

Pretty sure I could set that up on iOS. For reasons noted above, I don't want to. Dealing with what I need to deal with when it happens, even accepting some spam, is less time consuming and makes my life easier. YMMV.

Cheers.

Nope not from HGVC/HVC! I just get the emails from retailers stating you've left something in your cart - are you coming back?

My iPhone is set to not accept calls from unknown numbers and since most of the time I have the ringer off, people need to leave a voicemail if they do get through.

I have never received a phone call for something like this (like others, my phone wouldn’t ring anyways). I much rather (HGV are you reading this?) work on know issues than speculative ones.

We also received a call. We had been fishing around for Kingsland, and MarBrisa. It wasn't any kind of hard sell. When we explained we were just looking at options, he said okay. Super friendly.
