What is the best unit 2 request at animal kingdom for a 2 bed unit to see the animals

Actually, there are 4 savannas which have 4 different sets of animals. Plus, there are 2 different lodging buildings.

For all the savannas, there are public viewing areas - some very prominent locations off the lobbies and libraries of the resorts. Others are a little harder to find - like behind the bar near the one pool. I have booked savanna view units - but the warthog grouping with some other animals I was very disappointment with verses my experience with the bigger grazing animals. My nephew loved the warthogs and their digging, etc. He would sit out on the balcony for hours at night. He took lots of pictures.

Thanks for the info, vacationhopeful. I didn't realize the savannah animals varied by savannah. As an add-on to the original question - Is it possible to request a certain savannah view if you have a favorite animal? (I'd personally be disappointed by warthogs also.)

You can always call the lodge building you will be checking into and ask for a particular savanna. I have found with kids, "perfect always" does not allow a child to look for the positives in what life hands them.

My nephew didn't know anything about warthogs - but he entertained himself by watching them and then asking questions of the guides. He goes with the flow far better than his older brothers - I prefer travelling or working with him.
