Amex Hilton (Aspire and Surpass Only) CC Changes

Not my experience. I've only had one case where the $25 dining credit was not in one dining transaction, but both posted in the same cycle, the first to full value and the second up to the $25 limit. And they now post pretty consistently within 2 days of the dining charge. Same with Platinum Resy and Lululemon.

(And I only add these non-Aspire DPs here as an indication of reasonable consistency of rebates across other Amex products that really should apply here).

Cheers.

Sure, now I think Amex just doesn't like me...

Hilton Amex Aspire referral is 15,000 HH points to referrer and 175,000 HH points to referree. We just made a referral so this information is current.
15k HH pts = useless = why bother (although everything helps when you are on a Multi-MM HH quest)...
(+ if P2 opening aspire, then why not get the referral bonus, how-so-ever small that may be)...

I wouldn’t call it worthless at all. A room at the Hilton Kuching, Malaysia is 25k. 5 nights fifth night free is 100k HH. That’s 20k per night. As Diamond member get free breakfast. This is no Hampton Inn. It’s hot made to order and buffet with 6 different ethnic food themes. You’ll be stuffed until free cocktails and food in the evening at the executive lounge where your upgraded room is. You go ahead and pass on the15k. I’ll take it.

If you're going to Kuching, Malaysia, of course.

Cheers.

True that!
Happy for everyone who is able to redeem such amazing HH redemptions overseas; sadly yours truly is usually stateside & does not travel much internationally (life of a worker bee) & hence unable to get such amazing redemptions & have only seen the HH pts needed for any redemption stateside go up astronomically, rendering 15k HH pts not as helpful in my use case.
Happy for you for your Multi-MM HH journeys & sweet redemptions!!

That is but one example. I'm sure there are plenty of others. And yes I have taken advantage of the Hilton Kuching Malaysia. What a wonderful place and location. Back then it was only 10,000 HH points. At that time we calculated we could have stayed there six months with the amount of points we had. But we would have come back weighing 400 pounds.

I used the chat online yesterday asking about this credit, and the CS agent said they would credit it, and it posted today.
My husband and I both have the Aspire and our credits from Elara didn't automatically post this year either. I just chatted on both of our accounts and one was no problem and the other kept giving me the run around that it wasn't on the eligible list and they couldn't do anything. They also said that the other agent shouldn't have given the credit on my husband's account. Eventually he did it, but said it was a one time thing. I wish it would just do it automatically every year, like it did last year.

Did you share the link to the list with them showing that it is on the list? Elara is on it.

Yep, they actually shared the link with me as well after I told them it was on it. I think because it doesn't say Elara. It is coded as "HILTON LV52 COND HOAORLANDO FL" on AmEx.

What I have ended up doing is always paying MFs on my Boulevard deed for both Aspire and Surpass cards. This reason is that it always works. I had trouble with Valdoro on the Aspire cards. Interestingly, Valdoro worked for the Surpass card. I haven't tried it on my other deeds.

Same here. I think we've determined that W. 57th (our other property) doesn't work. Just simplest to make four payments (two in late December, two in late January) on Boulevard across two Aspires.

Cheers.

agree - Lagoon covers two Aspires. W57th doesn't trigger.

Surpass, Hilton business and I believe Hilton Platinum statement credits are hotel credits so should work on any Hilton branded hotel. Aspire is resort only.
