Amex Bevy card question

Just attended a sales presentation where they really pushed the AmEx Bevy card.

My question: how many Bonvoy points do I get if I pay my annual dues with the Bevy card? I have the Chase Boundless card and get 6x on Bonvoy points. What would I get with the AmEx Bevy?

I have the Bevy card and it's the same 6x per $ for Marriott spend. I think they push the Amex cards at these presentations because if you are approved onsite, the website will give you the card # immediately so the sales people can charge your purchase on the card that day. I believe you can not do this with a Chase card.

I'm planning to close my Bevy card this year and open a Boundless card for the right promo. The benefits of the Bevy card does not justify the $250 annual fee in my opinion.

I agree 100%. I am cancelling my Bevy card as well. You don't even get a free night until you spend $15k.

The bevy card provides the same 6X as the boundless card on Marriott spend. It is not worth it. They push them because the sales people earn a small commission for every application they get approved.
