Did anyone happen to see the American Masters Johnny Carson Biography Special last night on PBS?

It was very well done and comprehensive. Interesting interviews with 3 of his Ex's.

His mom could bring him down to size - they had a love-hate relationship.

Certainly, one of the great television entertainers.

RIP Johnny.

I meant to record it but forgot. Hoping it will repeat soon. Glad you enjoyed it. :)
 
DH & I watched it in 2 sessions, thanks to our dvr. Very well done. I never realized how instrumental Johnny was in jump-starting the careers of so many comedians. My hometown boy, Drew Carey, was emotionally breaking up as he described performing on the Tonight Show for the 1st time.
