In Live chat with Amazon right now attempting to get refund from toilet paper order placed over 3 weeks ago. It was over 2 weeks estimated shipping. Then, Amazon sent me something that said it was running late and I could ask for a refund if it didn't come by yesterday. It didn't come, but there was finally a FedEx tracking number listed- which turns out not be a legit tracking number. Amazon wanted me to email the seller, which I did and immediately got a message from Amazon saying that the seller's email no longer works. :mad:

That Amazon chat person says the seller can view my message in their account, they just won't get an email and I should wait until after April 14th and then contact Amazon again for a refund. I said that this is horrible customer service and I've never had such bad service from Amazon. They said that's the policy and is there anything else they can help me with. I've asked for a manager.... still waiting....

Also had an order for 2 face masks from seller MichelleQueen and she only sent one. I am doing a dance trying to get refund for the other one. That entire page has been removed like it didn't exist, but she has other listings, so I'll blast her as a bad seller wherever I can.

Another order for masks is "running late." Same type of BS as the toilet paper order.

Thanks for the heads-up. A couple of years ago Amazon opened up their listings to anyone and everyone without vetting as Amazon wants their share of commission. Now they are over their heads and having to deal with consumers trying to get money back from scammers.

Manager said their policy was to give seller a chance to respond, but she wouldn't make me wait and issued my refund and removed seller from Amazon.

I am going through normal process for the other masks that have a phony tracking number. I'm giving Michelle Queen 24 hours to give me a refund for the mask she didn't send before I leave negative feedback on all her other items for sale. Of course, Amazon will probably remove my negative feedback since it will be about her not sending a different item and not issuing a refund. At least I'll feel better......

@presley, sorry about your issues with this seller. It looks like you aren’t the only one as the complaints on this seller are starting to pile up.

Thank you for the sweet offer. I've ordered several from Etsy and just placed an order with REI. REI already shipped. I have some paper ones that I've been using for now. I should have a nice selection soon.

No problem. I didn't want you to go without when I figured that I could just drop one off at your house.

I've been having a difficult time trying to find the silver lining of this pandemic, but it did push me to get my sewing room back in some semblance of order (it's also the guest room and the "I don't know where it goes - just put it in the middle bedroom" room) so that is a positive.

I'm afraid I'll be getting the same run around from an Amazon seller I ordered 1/4" elastic tape from. They said it was shipped the same day I ordered it, and gave me a tracking number. The "tracking number" goes back to My Orders page. Says shipment should arrive April 30 - May 21. So much for fast shipping!

Okay, I need you all to talk some sense into me. I woke up with a headache and am feeling extra mean today.

I heard back from Michelle Queen and she said my missing item was delivered to me yesterday. That isn't true. I did the next step with Amazon and that was to contact them and request refund through their A-Z guarantee. I did that with a description of what all happened and how she is now selling same item under a different name (it shows up when you search her name for products she is selling). I also left negative feedback under the item she is selling under new name. I asked twice why she is still allowed to sell on Amazon.

I got the email back from Amazon saying they accepted my refund request and that I will receive my refund as soon as Michelle Queen receives the item back. She's obviously a liar. I paid for 2 items and received one. I want refund for the one I didn't receive. I will get my refund when I return the item that I don't have.

What do you think I should do?
1.) Send empty return package to her, knowing that I have to pay shipping fees to do that.
2.) Send the item that I did receive, knowing she is a liar and I'll probably have to fight a few more weeks for anything.
3.) Say screw it and let it go. No point in spending more time and money dealing with a dishonest person for less than $20.

The address I am to send it back to is her home address. I Googled it, of course. She has a nicer house than I do. Just sayin.

Ask to speak with a supervisor at Amazon. In the past I had gotten refunds from Amazon via chat or call back feature very easily. Something has obviously changed at Amazon now that they are refusing to process refunds. If Amazon refuses to give you refund, the next step is disputing with the credit card.
