Am I late to the party? We can now exchange into Club Wyndham properties for a $49 Club Pass fee & pts of course?

Looking at a 1 week vacation on the Big Island and it shows all the Wyndham properties too for ~11K-13K WM pts and a $49 Club Pass fee? True? Wake me up. :)

The linked post says it all.

Resale credits are not qualified to use Club Pass exchanges. The Club Pass fee was reduced to $49 (online) and increased to $149 over the phone a couple years ago . It was recently increased to $79 (online) for Club Wyndham Club Pass members, so WorldMark will probably not be far behind, but still a great deal versus other exchange companies.

Contrary to what was posted in 2019, there is some good availability in both directions through Club Pass. It is much easier to book Hawaii, and "nicer" locations through Club Pass, so it is one of the top destinations for WorldMark members using Club Pass. Although Club Wyndham has about 3 times as many members as WorldMark, more WorldMark members exchange into Club Wyndham through Club Pass than the other way around.

All the Club Pass details are available on pages 214-215 of the WorldMark Directory

Thanks for the detailed response!! So, even though it says I can book by paying the Club Pass fee I really can't since I'm a resale owner?
If I try to book that week I'll get a big "OOPS, Something went wrong" notice? (Just tried to book a week and that's the error I got).

Oh well, I thought it was too good to be true. :(

It does point out that availability in Hawaii is pretty good for Wyndham owners---so maybe this is a reason to buy Wyndham resale if you have need of more vacation time.

Phil

If you can travel on short notice, I saw some really nice Hawaii weeks for 4000 worldmark points on RCI. Looks like up to 6 weeks out. There was a 2 bd Point at poipu for 4000 points that was really tempting a while ago. Not much right now.
