Alyeska is a very nice resort about 45 - 60 minutes from Anchorage. In reading the link provided, yes, it appears that there is some arrangement to allow Worldmark points owners to go there. There is no listing for the resort in the Wyndham owners' page so we do not have access as Wyndham points owners. I also believe there would be no way to exchange into this resort.
With all of that being said, there are a couple of "timeshare resorts" that I'm aware of that from time to time crop up. On is in Whittier and the other is a fishing cabin over in SE Alaska. I recall reading about the one over in SE Alaska, because they charge a pretty high "inclusive" fee for meals and ammenities (like fishing).
As a general statement, timeshare ownership in the traditional format of interval ownership of 52 (or 50) weeks per year is a difficult sell as there are no areas of Alaska, in my opinion, that would be desirable to own (or vacation) year-round. At best, you could probably sell 20-35 weeks, but the rest would be dead weight on the other owners in terms of the MF's and general management requirements.
I could see someone figuring out a way to turn a cabin or cottage into seasonal ownership intervals and making exchanges available through an exchange network. I given a lot of thought to a model that could work in such a scenario, but at this time don't have the time or money to really explore it seriously. (This is somewhat like what I think some of the seasonal vacation homes in the UK and Ireland do.)
Anyway, Alaska is a great place to visit and I hope that the lack of a timeshare exchange will not keep you away from a wonderful vacation there.
