We are going to take a group of seniors to Cancun in April 2010--over Spring break. Aero Mexico has a great price right now, but I'm concerned about how reliable they are w/ their flights. I am concerned they will either cancel or change our flights since it's quite some time away. Anyone have experience with them? Any comments?

I love them. :cheer:

I've flown them many, many times. I've never had a flight cancelled (except for 1 time when the weather was too dangerous to fly in). Domestic beers are free. They still serve hot meals. Even if you have to go thru Mexico City, and the price is right, do it. Don't worry about cancellations and lost luggage.

I used to fly Aeromexico all the time from Houston to Cancun when they had non-stop flights and they were great. Now that they fly through Mexico City, it’s a six or seven hour trip so I switched to Continental. Continental’s non-stop trip takes about two hours.

Try Aeromexico; I think you’ll like them.

We have flown them three times this past year - Tijuana through Mexico City and also to Cancun. We just returned from A Tijuana - Guadalajara - Puerto Vallarta RT as well. We will continue to fly them whenever possible - very happy with their service. There was some shuffling of flight times but all was straightened out with a phone call - do keep checking your schedule every month or so.

I like Aeromexo. I look for a flight that stops in Mexico City on the way there. That usually saves about $150 bucks. In Mexico City they have an express line for those with connecting flights, so you go through immigration rapidly, and when you get to Cancun you just grab your luggage and go!! I really love the nonstop on the way home though!
