Advise on Exchange request please

Hi

I am new to TUG and am hoping for some advise on achieving success for an exchange request through II. I placed a request for Hyatt Wild Oak Ranch using 2 Platinum Ski weeks (actually Sundance week) of Marriott's Summit Watch. I placed the request 15 months in advance. So far, no luck. The request is for any of 3 weeks in June 2011.

At this point is there anything I can do to improve my chances for a match? At what point should I start considering "Plan B"? (and what is a good option for something within driving distance of Houston, Tx as "Plan B"?)

Thanks for any suggestions...
 
I'm probably not saying anything you don't know but obviously the more flexible you are the greater your chances of getting what you want. How flexible are the dates or room sizes you need?
 
I don't believe there is anything you can do to improve your chancres for getti getting hyatt wild oak through II. You can try for a private exchange through TUG with an owner at that resort or one of the nearby resorts eg, Worldmark New Braunfels.best bet would be to rent your platinum sk weeks which should more than cover renting through Hyatt

Thanks for your response.. We have requested any of 3 weeks in June. We need 2 bedrooms as we have kids and grandkids and this is hopefully a family vacation. (We have 4 kids and 6 grandkids)

Since I have already deposited these weeks with II, can I still try to rent them and rescind the II deposit??
