Does anyone have the address for the FLORIDA location to rescind the contract? I went to get the paperwork today and was told the system is down? I did not get any paperwork. The salesman told me he would call me to provide transportation back for my paperwork and I did not hear back. He knows I was on the fence and I believe he is trying to run down my 10 day clock. This is rubbing me the wrong way. I am only here for one more day. I no longer want to do business if I will be treated in this manner. I do not have a drop of paperwork.

grats on finding TUG in time to rescind!

the cancellation instructions should be included in the sales contract per florida law! not providing you a copy of the signed contract is also a violation!

demand the original if they cannot produce a copy!

I sent the salesman an email this evening explaining that I received a welcome email from Marriot Vacations at 11:35 am although he told me their systems were down. I said I had hoped to get a call to revive my paperwork as he promised but that didn’t happen. I assume the systems/computers are back up. I told him I am only in town for one more day and I want to come to their office tomorrow to retrieve my documents. I said I’ll take an Uber since he didn’t arrange transportation as promised. I put this in writing in an email in case I’m not provided with my contract/documentation, I can show that I made attempts to get it. I will still send the letter, but unfortunately without the paperwork I don’t have my contract number or address to a location to send the letter. However I will send it to corporate and any other address I can send via certified mail.

while i usually never advocate going back to a sales office, in this case if you truly were not provided with a copy of your signed contract id actually suggest making as much of a scene as possible in that office until they produce it.

(then follow the directions in the contract to legally rescind, in Florida I am almost positive the cancellation instructions have to be included within 1 or 2 pages of the page you actually signed!)

As stated, you should confirm with the contract you signed, but you might want to send to this one, taken from my rescinded contract from earlier this year:

Developer/Seller: Marriott Ownership Resorts, Inc., a Delaware corporation, whose address is 9002 San Marco Court,
Orlando, Florida 32819, Attn: Director of New Owner Administration

Maybe a different “attn to”.

Good luck.
