Adding a day to my reservation

I have booked 3 nights at a HGV club resort and want to start adding as the window opens. I choose "change reservation" but I can't figure out how to add just one day at a time as they become available. I click on the type of room and date and it says I need a 3 night minimum.

I have read the posts and understand the concept. I just need help on how to do it. I know I am missing a simple step....

You just drag the slider bar to add a day, click the blue bar of your current reservation with the new day added, and then walk through the booking process

Are you using the "Change Reservation" link (not making a new one)?
When the calendar pops up, don't change the start-date.
Just drag the end bar to add 1 more day and click on that.
Make sure you've got the same room type as what you booked.
