I am looking for guidance on adding a family member as a Hyatt owner. What is the procedure? Fee? Any idea on how that new expanded ownership works in a will or trust? Is the current ownership Joint Tenancy or other?

Thinking you are looking to add a family member to your Hyatt owner account to grant them access to your account in lieu of adding them to the deed?

In Hyatt terminology, the attached form makes an individual a “Joint Member” so the individual has access to Owner’s Hyatt account. This form does not afford the Joint Member any legal property rights as there are no changes in the deed. Note that a separate form is required for each person being authorized as a Joint Member, and each form must be signed by all owners of record, as well as the authorized user being added.

The attached form can be mailed with a check to the address at the bottom of the form. However, for a quicker turn around with credit card as the payment method, you can fill out the form, scan and email it to: hvomemberservices@vacationclub.com

If your payment method is a credit card, DO NOT enter your credit card information on the form or send your credit card information via email. When using a credit card for payment, in the body of the email with the scanned form, let them know that you will wait for their call to obtain credit card payment information to complete the process. Emails received with full credit card details will be deleted without processing.

A member of Resolution Services will contact you at the primary phone number on your ownership account within a few business days of receipt of your signed form to assist with collecting your payment.

FYI: The fee for a Reservation Affidavit use to be $32.00. However not sure if the fee amount has changed with the recent fee adjustments. I'd suggest sending an email inquiry on the form and fee to hvomemberservices@vacationclub.com for verification.
