activities at Aruba Surf Club and Ocean Club

Hi Folks,
I'm headed to Aruba's Ocean Club in a few weeks and found an activities guide on the Internet, which listed activities at both the Surf Club and the Ocean Club. Does this mean that I am welcome to go to activities at either resort? I seem to recall when I stayed at the Surf Club, there was a guard at the entrance from the beach who made sure we had the correct wrist bands and/or towels. Has anyone tried to do a fitness activity at the resort that they are not staying at?
Thanks!

The activities guide for each resort will list activities that happen at the other resort. So activities are shared. There is no guard between the resorts at the beach or otherwise. At least not while we've been there. They only check for wristbands in the Surf Club lazy river.
