? about Interval exchanges- ? OGS with E+ and OGS to a larger unit??

Hi-
I always thought you could only do an OGS to the same size or smaller, unless the resort only has larger units (a non-lock off property). Is that still the case? Someone posted about having an OGS using a studio for a 2BR property that has lockouts, so was surprised. Of course, they might be confused.

Secondly, are there OGS for Eplus exchanges? I don't think so but since I have another unit that I added E+ to extend the exchange figured I'd check. Funny, have made several exchanges but always manually.

You can set the unit size that you are willing to accept for any exchange you make. All the way from studio up to 4BR. There is a slider you use when setting up an OGS to select this. Upgrade fees will apply and certainly requesting something larger than you are offering up will decrease your chances of a match.

You can't use OGS with Eplus. Eplus retrades can only be used to search for instant exchange availability that is sitting online.

What II does limit you on is when manual searching, you can't put in the search parameters more people than your deposit allows. That doesn't stop the search results showing you units with more people in so its a bit of an odd limitation.
e.g if you have a studio that sleeps 4 and you want to search for units that sleep 6, you won't be able to put the 6 people in the search parameters, only upto 4 people. But the search results will include units that sleep 6, if you have the trading power.
