Got one of "those" calls today. A pleasant-sounding lady said she was calling "from RCI". That put up my scam feelers right away. She knew both my husband and my names and that we were timeshare owners. What she was selling was a two week package with one week as a cruise and one week as a timeshare stay, with no exchange fees. Just the additional "taxes and fees". (can't remember her exact words). After a bonus $300 discount for buying today, the cost was around $1000. Such a deal! I said, "no thanks".

Why wouldn't RCI be calling people - they sure aren't there answering their phones!

I got an RCI call today too. They always ask is this Sterling. My reply throws them off--"who wants to know". After a little stammering she says I'm Joan from RCI. Do you still have your timeshare?

Answer, "No it was foreclosed". Thank you click.

Sterling:D

Got a call last week. I told them my RCI membership expired two years ago. "Oh that's okay sir, as long as you still own a timeshare". I told them I was having supper and to call back the next day. Haven't heard from them since.
