Has anyone utilized these offers? We just purchased one and what they quoted us in the phone isn’t able to be booked in the timeframe we clearly stated we were interested in. I called in to clarify that this wasn’t what we were sold etc.They offered a refund which isn’t what we were interested in, we were interested in the specific nights etc.

Any other recommendations on how to remedy this situation?

You need to be flexible on when you go. If you don't have flexibility then timeshares probably aren't for you.

If they are offering you a refund, why not take it? You are lucky that they aren't insisting that you use it on some other date.

Take the refund. You will be happier and have your money back to do with what you want. I suckered in to a similar offer and am going to The Hilton Club NYC for three nights the week of Thanksgiving. Except for the solo presentation, the $515 for three nights in NYC isn't too bad. Get to see the city getting ready for Christmas.

Agree with others on the refund. It's your only viable recourse. What they "quoted (you) on the phone" has no standing. If it's not in writing, it doesn't exist. They are making you whole with the refund, and all that they are required to do. If they don't have the inventory you want, the likelihood that they will make it available is low. Take the money and run.
