Hello,

We are considering a vacation at Sheraton Desert Oasis.

How does the resort compare in quality to Marriott Canyon Villas, or one of the decent MVC resorts?

How is the fitness center at SDO? Lots of bicycles, elliptical machines, resistance and weight training equipment?

How about the area that SDO is in? Nice? Safe?

Thank you.

The units are fine, as long as you avoid the scorpions. The resort is not as nice as MCV or Kierland.

Thank you.

I have never stayed at the resort but I live in the area and it is very safe. It is close to the Fairmont Scottsdale as well as many shops and restaurants. Go and enjoy!

The area is great. SDO is an apartment style complex. I prefer Kierland but it's still a good choice for a stay in Scottsdale.

The fitness center seems unusually small given the size of the resort. Only a few buildings have elevators to the second floor and above.
