Follow-up from my July 2023 stay
We stayed for 4 of our 14 nights. Even of the worst WM units I've stayed in this place does not come close to the WM standard I've come to expect. It should be noted that they are in the process of renovating the units on the upper part of Ickes Memorial Drive where our unit was so there's that.
As originally stated I booked a '2 Bedroom King - Depuy'. I received a 2 BDRM Ridge Top. When I asked about the Depuy I was told "we're oversold be glad we have a unit at all!". Wow I didn't know Worldmark units were being booked like hotels! Ok, yes I did but oversold?! No I don't think so. There were maybe 5 cars parked at any given time on the upper part of Ickes Memorial Drive. There were a few more on the lower part of the road and definitely more in the other villages/areas where units are located. Anyhow, I requested that we be given the Depuy unit since we booked a king not a queen like the Ridge Top had. Also, Ridge Top has a shared laundry room with a single washer and dryer for all the units in each cluster. So 6 units shared a washer/dryer
After talking with the supervisor they suddenly "found" a 2 Bedroom King - Depuy for us. Not sure what we were getting into we decided to check it out before relocating. The unit was clean and pretty much Worldmark standard but the living area was basement like and the showers both had a ceiling of about 6'4". I'm 6'2 so with the dungeon like living area and tight shower we deiced to tough it out in the Ridge Top until we found a better place to vacation.
For anyone curious we ended up in NYC and had an awesome albeit expensive vacation so thanks Wyndham!
